Here's why. It's very sturdy unlike one of the previous stands which seemed to have a perpetual wobble. The other feature I really like is the swivel feature located at the base of the support leg which allows you to adjust the laptop's position very easily. Previous stands required the user to hoost both the stand and the laptop to make minor position adjustments. <br /> <br />The only downside is the price which is why I gave this stand a 4 instead of a 5. I think the price is high when compared with other stands on the market. If the price doesn't bother you, then I think you'll be happy with this stand. <br /> <br />**** REVISED 093009 ***** Since my writing of the original review, this stand has broken; that's just over 2 months of use. The spring ring at one of the flex points keeps popping out and then the one from the other side pops out. I spend a lot of time on the computer and thought I would use this to help my sitting position etc. It works well and just as it says. I find that I just end up sitting with my laptop...well, in my lap. However, I think this is perfect for those who like to sit at a desk or at a table while on the computer and they will find this as a great tool.
